Where to Take Your Date on Valentines Day Based on What Kind of Couple You Are

1. Ipanema Cafe- Vegans

With a completely meatless menu and cozy seating, Ipanema Cafe is the perfect spot for herbivores and those who love them.

2. The Village Cafe- The Long Distance Relationship

The Village is a classic Richmond dining location, so it’s perfect for you if your significant other is visiting from out of town. Give them a taste of what Richmond is all about, while enjoying some quality time over milkshakes and oversized burgers.

3. Amici Ristorante- Hopeless Romantics

There’s nothing more traditionally romantic than Italian food. This small Cary town restaurant has white table cloths, nice wine, and comforting Northern Italian cuisine. Lady and the Tramp much?

4. Sticky Rice- Sharing is Caring

Sticky Rice’s selection of sushi and other asian dishes is perfect for sharing with your date. If you and your significant other are all about variety and swapping bites of each other’s orders, then this is the place for you.

5. Shyndigz- For Those With a Sweet Tooth

If you make your food order intentionally small so you can save room for dessert, then Shyndigz is calling your name. With just dessert there are no pretenses about having a well balanced meal.

6. Black Sheep- Double Date

Black Sheep is home to massive sandwiches, but also an intimate atmosphere. This makes it the perfect place to go on a double date because you can split a Battleship sandwich with your friends, but also feel somewhat fancy while you do it.

7. Foo Dog- Nerds

Instead of eating take out in front of the TV with your significant other watching anime, take them here instead. Foo Dog serves Asian street food, and has sailor moon decor. What more can we say?

8. Kuba Kuba- Adventurous Types

If you and your date are all about trying new kinds of food in an authentic atmosphere, Kuba Kuba is a great choice. Cuban food is not found on every corner, so if you’re up for something fresh check out this fun Fan restaurant.

9. Mojo’s Philadeli- Out With Friends

Located just on campus, Mojo’s menu has traditional American food and beverages. Wings, burgers, loud music, and pitchers of beer make this a fun location to go out with a big group of friends and celebrate a completely different kind of love.

10. Red Eye- Alone

For those who just want to be home with Netflix and be sad, Red Eye is always there for you. Huge gooey cookies delivered to your door should help cheer up your gloomy mood.
